'And then, morning'

 

I’m publishing ‘And then, morning’ today. It’s an animated short film in which I have been working for a while, and that really found its purpose as a visual accompaniment for Am Shhara's stunning track ‘Tame’ from her album Shinsoko.

‘And then, morning' rises from experimentation with light and noise, within a framework of seemingly unrelated scenes. Developed in a 3D environment and using shader-based textures. Am Shhara’s music organizes chaos, unfolding shots into an ethereal-meditative storyline.

Loosely inspired by the myth of Phaeton, this animated short film plays darkness as an intuitive action. Perception and chance meet remarkable outcomes when preceded by the right circumstances.
